Easy Crock-Pot Beef Stew Recipe: A Comforting Meal for Any Occasion
Ingredients
2 pound beef chuck or stew meat
2 cup diced potatoes
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup diced onions
2 cloves minced garlic
4 cup beef broth
2 tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. 1. Prepare the vegetables by peeling and dicing the potatoes, carrots, and onions, and mincing the garlic.
2. 2. Optionally, brown the beef in a skillet for added flavor.
3. 3. Layer the potatoes, carrots, and onions in the Crock-Pot, then add the beef on top.
4. 4. Pour the beef broth over the ingredients and stir in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, bay leaves, and parsley.
