Description
A delightful and versatile snack made with tortilla wraps, cream cheese, deli meats, and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
8–10 tortillas
8 ounce cream cheese, softened
8 ounce deli ham or turkey, sliced
1 cup fresh spinach or lettuce leaves
1 red or yellow bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. 1. Gather all the necessary ingredients and ensure they are prepped and ready to go. Slice the bell pepper into thin strips, wash and dry the spinach or lettuce leaves, and soften the cream cheese to room temperature.
2. 2. Lay a tortilla wrap flat on a clean surface. Using a butter knife or the back of a spoon, spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese across the entire surface of the tortilla.
3. 3. On top of the cream cheese, arrange a layer of deli meat, followed by the spinach or lettuce leaves and the bell pepper strips. Season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, if desired.
4. 4. Carefully roll the tortilla tightly, starting from one edge and working your way to the opposite side. Once fully rolled, use a sharp knife to slice the pinwheel into 1-inch sections.
5. 5. Arrange the pinwheel slices on a serving platter and enjoy!
Notes
For a visually appealing presentation, consider arranging the pinwheels in a circular pattern or standing them up vertically in a tall glass or mason jar. Chill the pinwheels for at least 30 minutes before slicing to help them hold their shape.
